The youth ministry is organized in order to build a generation that places Christ at the center; -building virtues of purity, holiness and righteousness. We minister every second Sunday of the month with the overall plan of building “FISHERS OF MEN” (Matthew 4:19). The youth ministry is composed of three sections: Teens class, Campusers and Kingdom Business Fellowship (Young Workers). The Youth pastor is Rev. Patricia Laaki assisted by the youth leader Timothy Kirabo Kateete.

Youth Organization:

This follows a 3D strategy: Discover, Develop, Deploy. The youth ministry is classified according to the three major stages of youth life; Teens, Campusers and Young adults to which 3D is deployed.

Teen’s class: Age Group: (13-19)
Founded in 2013 by the then youth pastor David Asiimwe ( currently a reverend ), this ministry is composed of students who have completed their confirmation class and are no longer part of the children’s class. This class has been growing over the past seven years attracting many young people who needed a belonging thus becoming a foundation for developing future Godly stewards. This class meets every Sunday of the week in the new church at St. Andrews Church Bukoto from 8:00 am to 9:30am, 9:30am to 11:30pm and 11:30am to 1:30pm and are now under the spiritual guidance of Mr. Allan Wephukulu.

Campusers fellowship: Age Group 🙁 19-23)
This was started to cater for students at universities. Given the diverse backgrounds and cultures our children are encountered with at this level, there was great need to keep them in line with the gospel of Christ who is our ultimate foundation. This group meets every Thursday of the week in the different halls of residents at their respective Institutions at Makerere University, Makerere Business School (MUBS) and Uganda Christian University (UCU) to share the gospel and build each other in line with our church vision. The ministry is under the leadership of Pauline Isiagi.

The Young Adults / Kingdom Business Fellowship (KBF) (24-35).

This is a young adult’s ministry under the leadership of Mr. Denis Okumu assisted by Jonah Ainembabazi. The ministry was started in 2012 with the main aim of fostering holistic transformation of young people (18 – 35yrs). Members of this fellowship are encouraged to spread the good news of Christ in the market place and be motivated to live in purity and righteousness as they pursue their life and career goals. It is based on Mathew 6:33
with a model of equipping, empowering and transforming lives. The team fellowships every Tuesday of the week from 6:00 -8:00 pm in the new church building at St. Andrews Church Bukoto. Key activities of this ministry are; Prayer Meetings, monthly home visits – every last Sunday of the month, Prayer retreats and outreaches. Given the age bracket, Members of this ministry are encouraged to build and maintain relationships that could lead to marriage. We have witnessed a number of our members get married and we bless God even for those yet to follow suit.

Joint Youth Fellowship / Youth service.
All the three mentioned groups above, come together for fellowship/ youth service every Fridays of the week in the main church at St. Andrews starting 5:30pm – 7:30pm. This is aimed at bringing all the youth together to share what has been learnt in their respective groups and refocus on Christ like measures. This fellowship / service is open to other youth coming from different parishes. It has managed to record a few number of youth from different parishes like St. Peter’s Naguru, St. Johns Kamwokya, Namugongo, Bugolobi Church of resurrection and World shine.
